The Hundred Line Wiki

Description[]

The Infirmary serves as the primary medical facility within **Last Defense Academy**. While it provides standard treatment for injuries, its most critical function is the ability to bring fallen soldiers back to life through advanced technology.

Two key machines are located here:

  • Revive-O-Matic – A resurrection device capable of restoring fallen soldiers.
  • Corpse Recovery Drone – An automated drone that retrieves the bodies of fallen Special Defense Unit members.

When a member of the Special Defense Unit dies in action, the Corpse Recovery Drone will automatically retrieve their body and place them back into the Revive-O-Matic.

Tsubasa

A fully autonomous drone that ensures no fallen soldier is left behind. These drones are programmed to locate, retrieve, and transport bodies back to the infirmary, where the Revive-O-Matic will attempt revival.

The Revive-O-Matic, a machine capable of restoring life.

It's got data on all of us right down to our genetic code. It cross-references those records to figure out who's in the pod.

Tsubasa

From there, it uses some kind of ultra-complicated process to reconstruct the body back to its original state, and then we beat death alive again... just like that."*

The Revive-O-Matic is a powerful piece of technology designed to bring back fallen Special Defense Unit members. It scans the genetic data of the deceased and reconstructs their body to its exact original state. However, it first verifies the victim's identity before the revival process begins. Why does it need identity verification first?

Tsubasa Kawana has speculated that this feature exists to prevent enemies from using the device if they manage to capture it. The full mechanism behind the machine remains unknown, but its effectiveness is undeniable.

Also the machine keeps backup data of the memories of the Last Defense Unit members, but the primary data is mostly used in most Revivals as long as the machine is completely operational.

The machine can be easily damaged if enough blunt force is rammed into it, despite the defense measures a large heavy object would be enough to damage its condition.

Dolmenic Cognitive Reconstruction Therapy Machine[]

The Dolmenic Cognitive Reconstruction Therapy Machine is a high-powered device that consumes so much energy during activation that it causes a temporary blackout lasting several seconds. Due to its instability and potential dangers, it can only be deployed under the strict supervision of Sirei and Nigou.

Its primary function is to emit specific frequencies into the brain of the subject—a process referred to as Dolmenic Cognitive Reconstruction Therapy. This technique is used to erase or suppress targeted memories and was originally developed to recondition individuals such as Eva, a former member of the Invaders. However, it is also authorized for use on members of the Last Defense Academy unit if deemed necessary.

The therapy can result in subtle personality shifts or, if mishandled, extreme and unpredictable changes. The success of the procedure is often likened to a "roulette"—its outcome heavily dependent on chance and operator precision.

A more stable and effective variant of the process, known as Improved-Dolmenic Cognitive Reconstruction Therapy, exists but is a closely guarded secret known only to Hiruko. She alone possesses the knowledge to perform this refined method and may choose to pass it on to Sirei if she sees fit. Unlike the original version, which carries the risk of the subject (such as Eva) going rogue or becoming violent, the improved method ensures greater stability and a more controlled personality outcome.

Trivia[]

  • The **Revive-O-Matic** is one of the most advanced technologies in **Last Defense Academy**, capable of reversing death itself.
  • The identity verification system raises questions about potential security risks or hidden limitations.
  • The **Corpse Recovery Drone** operates entirely autonomously, ensuring that even those who fall in combat are never left behind.
